Prof. Bossier is an agricultural engineer (Ghent University, Belgium). He is Head of Lab at Aquaculture & Artemia Reference Center, Ghent University. He has specialized in aquaculture genetics, disease in aquaculture, aquaculture and the environment, algal culture and microbial community management in aquaculture. His current research area is in host microbial interactions and genetics in aquatic animals.
