Prof. Dr. Eng. Iordanka Alexieva is Vice Rector of International Integration and Qualification Improvement at the University of Food Technologies. The research interests are in the field of bioactive components, culinary technology, new product development and quality management in tourism and hospitality. She has more than 150 articles; 100 scientific reports; author and co-author is of 34 books and textbooks; has participated or coordinated 25 international and 39 innovation and applied projects. Prof. Alexieva has been a tutor of 6 PhD, 60 Bachelor, more than 100 Master thesis and 40 individual post-graduate specializations.
